Kara Lawson - basketball analyst?

Featured Replies

There is a thread on here on Bill Walton so I thought I would throw another person out there for discussion. Lately I have listened to a lot of games that Kara Lawson has been a analyst on and I find her refreshing to listen to. She does college and NBA for ESPN and she is not over the top, doesn't try to talk over the other analysts and I think she adds a lot of value to the broadcast with her college and WNBA experience. She seems to know what she is talking about and I enjoy the games she does. Just thought I would get others thoughts. I know I have seen posts in other threads asking who in the heck she was.

She knows what she's talking about when it comes to the Cats. That's all I can say. I'd prefer to listen to her at halftime in the studio rather than her be the sideline in game analyst, though.

She is very knowledgable of the game, and of course being a former star guard herself helps. I like her analyzis and she's easy to listen to, much better than some of the men they have on the broadcasts.

I normally don't like females announcing the Men's game but Kara and Doris Burke have made me believers.

Huge Kara Lawson fan here. Been gushing love for her in a lot of the recent "announcer" posts I've made, mostly for the same reasons that have been mentioned here.

Shes a keeper:popcorn:
