Im not sure being 1, 2, 3 or 4 really matters. I've watched all 4 teams multiple times. Each imo can beat the other on any given night. Throw in the district at BC and that might just give BC an Paris a little edge.

Grc has a slight edge in experience in high pressure distric games since the other teams rosters are made up of kids that haven't really

Been in those battles.

It should be the best district tournment in years.

No easy games - 4sho

if you guys just drew like we do...none of this would matter.

Bourbon County ain't beating Clark County.

Just saying.

Sosby has righted the ship and being played at Bourbon, just sayin'.:idunno:

Why play the regular season district games if you are going to draw for the district tournament?

They have no relevance.

It's so that a district could possibly get a poor 3 or 4 team playing against each other and the winner advances to the Regional tournament while having a 1 vs. 2 eliminate the other from the Regional tournament.

In scenario 7, who would get the #1 seed with a tie between Montgomery County and GRC with a split during the season series? Coin flip?

Agreed. These are scenarios 3 and 8.

Not if Bourbon County defeats GRC. See scenario 6. Then it will be Paris as number 1 as they would have defeated Montgomery County twice in the season series.

There are 8 possible scenarios left to be played out.

District standings would be

GRC 5-1

Montgomery County 4-2

Paris 3-3

Bourbon County 0-6

2.) GRC over Bourbon County

Bourbon County 0-6

5.) Bourbon County over GRC

Good call. I ignored the possibility of Bourbon winning this game.

Yes, 7 would be a coin flip.

Not sure how the coin flip works for a 3 way tie, but I would suggest a die roll instead.

Could do the 3-way coin flip from Friday Night Lights - odd team gets #1 seed instead of being out of the playoffs.

I'll go with GRC, they looked great the other night against Rowan county.

According to the 40th District document, the 2-way tie procedure is to look at 1) head-to-head and then 2) coin flip.

The 3-way tie procedure is to look at 1) records of teams that are tied and then 2) coin flip.
