What's Your Favorite .22 Rifle?

I just kept buying rounds whenever they were available. I actually target shoot with my 9mm pistol a lot more than I do the .22.

I always bring a .22 or 2 with me but seems I always end up popping off the bigger stuff. :D

CZ 452 American with simmons scope. Found it on the used rack at Woodbury's Outfitters in Coshocton, OH. The stock has more of a blond color. I think its beautiful. I don't see too well and definitely need the scope. All I do at this point is target shoot. It's a tack driver. Likes CCI ammo.

I keep threatening to squirrel hunt but so far the tree rats are safe. I just haven't gotten around to it.

My older brother was qualified expert as a marksman in the Army, and he's a geek for target shooting. He has a Ruger 10/22 refitted with a bull barrel and an 18" fluted stainless bull barrel and a synthetic stock. I can't recall the optics he has on it...but that thing...wow. I literally saw him ear-hole a squirrel with that at about 106 yards (we measured it off after the fact).

I didn't know .22's in general could shoot that accurately despite the skill level of the shooter.

I've been shooting the old .22 lately. I left it in the safe for too long. Spent time on the range with other weapons. I nearly forgot how much I like shooting the thing.

Target shooting, plinking or some unlucky varmits?

Shot targets on my bro-in-law's farm recently. I've admittedly removed some nuisance birds from refusing to nest in a more appropriate place than under my deck. After the 5th eviction notice, I executed both. The poop stopped with.
