I might just record some crowd noise in this one to see what all the fuss is about. Good luck to both teams, I like them both.

Holmes has too much quickness and depth. Holy Cross will keep it close for a half to midway through third quarter, but Holmes wins by 10 - 14 point.

I'll take Holmes by 15+.

This game is going to be close. I say single digit win for either team. I pick HC because Holmes has a tendency to have a let down (I would say primarily because of the margin of victory they have been able to sustain). If that happens Holmes may not respond like the team they are in a close contest.

 

I like both teams and wish all safety during this much aligned and awaited contest.

Would almost drive 4 1/2 hours for this one..

Not usually a fan of girls hoops but seriously debating attending this one...

On Jan. 6 Brossart beat Holy Cross by 6. A couple weeks later Holmes beat Brossart by 50. I'm assuming Holy Cross was missing some key players when they lost to Brossart. But still ...

I agree with this. Tough task, but I do think they have the tools to be able to do that. I think enough ball handling to not allow Holmes the easy baskets they typically get. And if that can happen, they have a chance because of their defense (length) and good enough guards to control the half court. They also have enough size to limit second chances for Holmes. Not saying that wins the game for them, just saying they have to figure out a way to slow down the scoring of Holmes and they have the tools to do it. Whether it works out that way or not, I have no idea. I think Holmes is on a roll and playing very well right now and with a lot of confidence. And no one in a long time has been able to "punch back". It will be interesting to see if HC can take the initial barage, survive and keep it close to the end. If that happens, how does Holmes react?

Sick on the "national holiday" in Covington!!!??? Should be a great game! I am 99% sure I will be there tonight. I expect a great environment. This is great for girl's bball! I'm excited and my Birds aren't even playing!!!!

Besides the talk would be a little one sided since the HC faithful have been a little quite recently! I'm thinking the talk may have to wait till next Thursday! The board never lacks a presence from HHS parents and fans!
