Nice win for the Bulldogs! Looks like ND must have settled down in the second half.

NDA outscored Holmes by one point in the second half to lose by 22. Is there some consolation for the NDA fans in that?

Off long range shooting night for the Lady Bulldogs no 3pt fg's from Harris or Tubbs. A first for the season

Hard to keep the focus when you have such a big lead at half, we all have been there!

Terrific game from No. 22 for Holmes-- Stovall? She was forcing turnovers all afternoon. Believe the score at half was 40-16. Lady Dogs only had two fouls called on them in first half, which is somewhat amazing given the defensive pressure Holmes was applying in second quarter.

ND tried to bring a physical game plan tonight and found out real quick that the Lady Dogs could play just as physical. As I have said in earlier post we have face several styles of play and have adjusted well. ND seemed to be winded at times but kept fighting hard. They really are not as bad as their record shows. Their number 40 is a real nice player but got caught up in battling with fans in the stands while she should have focused more on the game at hand. Fans are going to heckle teams on the road it is part the game. So I think she lost her composure in that manner but overall she has had a very nice high school career.Holmes is a tough team to match up with because of their depth. Even when beat long they still were able to recover.

Man does anybody else hear crickets besides me?

When teams come to NDAs court they aren't heckled by the fans. Especially old men heckling teenage girls. But if that's what makes your fans feel better then all is good....shows class.

Her focus wasn't taken to the stands, it actually helped her focus not to foul so as not to give the satisfaction to the old fella telling her she was the next to foul out.

Thanks though for the compliment, she has had a decent high school basketball career. Good luck to the Lady Dawgs, they are our choice to win the 9th.................despite the fans!

Players should not be heckled by adults, especially. With that being said, don't place the whole Bulldog Nation in that category for just a few. Unfortunately, most fan bases have the few. I don't judge them on a few bad examples.

What do you guys want to talk about? It a W and people have congratulated you. Several said this would end about this way. Nothing really to talk about. The majority of the prediction thread expected this.

I for one thought ND would play you closer. Sounds like Holmes had a flurry in the 2nd qtr and ND could never recover. I said Holmes must have played well. What else ya want to discuss.

I would beg to differ, every teams fans heckles in some fashion exspecially at the catholic schools. Have we forgotten about the Crazies of CCH which is one my favorite cheering schools. Players have faught through hecklers for years. And parents from every school does some sort of heckle so none are saints.

I respect your opinion, but heckled by adults is much different than teenage kids heckling. And cheering extra loud or getting on refs is nowhere near a grown man directing his energy at a high school kid directly. I was not there, but it doesn't sound like other Bulldog fans are denying that it happened. And if it did, that is ridiculous!! My daughter or our team has never had any instances of individualized hecklin, direct attacks on players...head games...or whatever you want to call it. And if an HHS fan ever did, you can bet I would be the first one down to discuss it with them. There is no place for adults to heckle individual high school players. Period!
