Another Holmes thread where Highlands gets brought in. ..shocker. I don't follow girls hoops but can't wait for those two to play to end this debate for good.

Highlands was not brought into the discussion by a Highlands person! I just asked a question on how they know they are that much better than HHS. That's all I'm asking from the beginning. How do they know they are better than HHS?

And you best believe the Dawgs will be ready and will not have a million excuses about who is not there and who is sick or injuried. Because they have played no matter what. Lets not forget the excuses that were given when Owenboro beat the Birds and unless my eyes are failing me that was light pressure. Oh I forgot the Birds did not want to really play in Conners tourney so they did not play hard. I tell you one thing the dawgs have lost for years and never made any excuses. So be patient your teams will get their chance.

No no no. I know they are. I'm saying they aren't at "another level" than HHS though. And they won't "run away" from HHS. I'm not taking ANYTHING away from them. I'm just saying it's silly to make those comments based on what they've done so far and what HHS has done. Very similar results. I haven't denied one time that Holmes isn't good or isn't a top team in the state. But so is HHS. If anything, those comments are saying HHS isn't for real!

Dont recall saying RCC9 in my post but if the shoe fit wear it. Dont you worry the Dawgs take it a game at a time and will give their all.

I have to agree TNT ..... I can say that I am very impressed with Holmes. I put them at the top in nky. Sk is a close second and wished these two played each other. Highlands is my 3rd pick with hc 4th. Hc should he all the parts but seems to be struggling with the expectations. Sk is just rolling right now and that bodes well for them as they seemed to be gelling nicely after their first 4 or 5 games. I'm still struggling with highlands, their schedule makes it hard for me to see how good they are. I've only seen them once so hard for me to really judge them but I think Holmes runs away against highlands or hc

Nope. Don't need to. I know all their players and I know how they play. I know several 9th coaches that have scouted them multiple times and I know that HHS is just as good.

 

Here's where all you guys are getting your feathers ruffled. I have not said a thing about Holmes not being good. I have said, HHS is just as good. You are taking that as an insult and interpreting that as me saying I don't think Holmes is good. Not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that when someone says "Holmes will run away from HHS" and "Holmes is on another level (compared to HHS)" I'm challenging the Holmes supporters to tell me what makes you think that. That's my question to the Holmes fans. That in no way has ANYTHING to do with me saying Holmes isn't legit. That's how you're translating it.

Only 5ft of snow will cancel the game Holmes dont run from nobody the girls are ready for any game they play. Trust Friday's game it not gonna be taking as a run away with kinda game NDA will play Holmes tough just like any other school oh by the way leave your nephew's at home don't really need them on the court lol just kidding

Again the resumes are not all that similar this Holmes team won six games in a row on the road sleeping in hotels and living out of suitcases without the luxury of fans or loved ones attending the games!!!

I haven't seen highlands play yet but im pretty sure they are a very good team. Hopefully we'll get to see them play on the 24th against HC i heard they rescheduled the game
