January 6, 201511 yr Another change.... @WojYahooNBA: Misinterpreted where OKC's sending its protected first-round pick: It's headed to Cleveland, not New York. Apologize.
January 6, 201511 yr Just a matter of time before Waiters was gone. Not sure this helps any of the teams other than the Knicks getting rid of Smith.
January 6, 201511 yr Like this for the Knicks- dump money and players that won't help you win. I wish we could have got that 1st round pick, too.
January 6, 201511 yr Sam Amico @SamAmicoFSO 2m2 minutes ago Sources indicate Cavs plan to use first-round pick they receive from Thunder as part of different trade for big man. That deal not imminent.

January 6, 201511 yr Shumpert helps perimeter defense , but JR smith ? You trade one head case for a bigger head case . Also a guy who has an itchy trigger finger . Waiters for OKC is for the future because they are to cheap to sign Reggie Jackson. Heck he might still be traded. NY probably is the winner as of now just because of the flexibility it provides.
January 6, 201511 yr Maybe Waiters will stand for the Star Spangled Banner in OKlahoma since he wouldn't in Clev.
January 6, 201511 yr Haven't the Knicks been trying to get rid of Smith for awhile now. And by awhile I mean over a year? Not sure how this deal helps Cleveland at all.............
January 6, 201511 yr Haven't the Knicks been trying to get rid of Smith for awhile now. And by awhile I mean over a year? Not sure how this deal helps Cleveland at all............. Basically, Smith is an older version of Waiters with a more consistent jump shot. Shumpert is a major defensive upgrade over anybody else on the perimeter for the Cavs besides maybe LeBron.

January 6, 201511 yr Maybe it was for the best Dion Waiters is wide open but LeBron James won't pass the ball - SBNation.com As soon as I saw that I knew Waiters was on borrowed time. :lol2: Who's next is my question? The coach, Kyrie or KLove?

January 6, 201511 yr Kyrie or Love who ever they can get the most for. I think Kyrie. I think it'll be the coach first.
January 6, 201511 yr I think it'll be the coach first. I hope not, that will be a pretty appealing job for Cal this time around.
