Come on ESPNGUY, you could make that comment about anyone who might try to guard Oden not just Dan. Oden as you well know is considered by most respected publications the best player in the country for obvious reasons.

The Indiana Game Director just scheduled them for their first public scrimmage. Indiana's Mr. Basketball has told the Indianapolis Star that he is looking forward to it. I think they will play. Just my opinion.

Having seen my fair amount of Ky. H.S. Basketball over the last several years, I really find it amazing that one of the truest point guards in the state was not even invited to try out. I realize that when choosing from the many HS seniors throughout the state it's very tough to include everyone,

but Tyler Mains epitomizes that true point guard position. Yes, there are several good players listed, but many might play the point on their respective team when in reality they are legitimately a 2 guard. Tyler has been groomed all of his life to be the point guard and he has done an admirable job.

:thumb: You have seen Mains far more times then I have but the times I did have the pleasure to watch him play I always came away impressed with how he played. He was the one who ran the show for the last 2 very talented PC teams. I would have liked to have seen him at least be given a tryout.

I would think Penick makes the team. I also think the coach will select players that match a style suited for the strategy he has to attempt at upsetting Indiana. I do not know the coaches style of offense, slow or up-tempo, but whatever it is, it will have a bearing on who is selected. They may try a 4 guard offense, or they may try a physical line-up. Does any one know this coaches coaching style?

I know one person on the list who will not be intimidated by anyone, and that's Antonio Owens.
