January 5, 201511 yr Bengals got as far as they could with the players they had available. Mike Brown has run a solid business and Marvin is a good coach. What the Bengals need is more support and less nay sayers. The job done by the coaching staff this year was very good. Did we fade away at the end; yes. There are a few keys we needed to have for the playoff win to be achieved; they are named Burfict, Eifert, Green, Gresham, Jones (Marvin) and Smith (Andre). All things considered: well done.

Yeah, but 3 of those 4 have played in a Super Bowl recently, and have won playoff games as well, even the Jets made the AFC Championship two years in a row, I'd take any of that over one a done four years in a row by these Gals.

January 5, 201511 yr If he is back any fan that keeps going to all the games is getting what they deserve! No Mikey will not lose much money with 20,000-25,000 or so empty seats per home game, but he is very money hungry and that site would get him thinking as he wants all the money he can get. Plus the empty seats will be very bad for PR. As was mentioned, Katy is very concerned about the family image and would be able to talk some sense into her father. Marvin has no business being a head coach anywhere in the NFL, and what others have mentioned there is no other team in the NFL that would have kept him this long. Just being a nice guy doesn't cut it in sports, your job is to win, and get to the playoffs and win. Ask Tubby Smith, nice guy, a good record, but he couldn't do well in post season, it goes with the job. He understood and had no I'll feelings. I don't care what his record is in the regular season, he can't win in the playoffs! And we actually had someone on here bring up the injury excuse? Keep drinking the mike brown koolaid. With the Bengals there are always excuses, if it's not one thing it's another, even with a healthy team Marvin would have prevented a playoff win with his horrible clock management skills, which have to be the worse of any coach at any level of play. Plus, as others pointed out, look at some others teams who excel even with injuries. People want to bring up other teams, but about all of them at least have won a playoff game in the past two decades. Are you a UK basketball fan? What if during Cal's time here so far the teams won 20+ games each season, heck, throw in a couple seasons where the team had almost 30 wins, but each year Cal would lose the first game of the NCAA tourney. Do you honestly think he would still be here? The answer is NO! Mike brown doesn't care about anything except making as much money as he can. Putting a product on the field that is competitive at times doesn't cut it. He has no soul, he doesn't care about the fans and he takes them as fools!
