East Ridge knocked off Sheldon Clark in the opening round of the 15th Region All-A last night. Sheldon Clark was undefeated and considered the regional favorite, although there seemed to be several schools (including East Ridge) capable of winning the event. Sheldon Clark had beaten East Ridge on December 9 by 19 points so this is a big turnaround. East Ridge moves on the quarterfinals tonight where they will play South Floyd. Sheldon Clark won't play again until January 13 when they face Betsy Layne.

So what's the story of the fights, ejections and technicals?

Yeah I'd like to hear more details. It sounds like Sheldon Clark's starters were ejected

My brother and sister in law are staying with us through this holiday and their nephew plays for SC. Said their best player was ejected along with another.

I figured it must've been him. That explains the loss

The story I heard said the following were ejected.

East Ridge : Hylton, Chaney, Sayers

Sheldon: James , Blackburn
