Justin Miller's putback with 3.1 seconds sealed it for Owensboro.

This answers the question about anyone competing with Owensboro. Apollo could be a handful if they get the big kid eligible.

Another solid win for Owensboro in Apollo's gym..Very interesting 3rd region this year..Always nice too see Apollo and Owensboro battle at the top. Doesn't suprise me that Miller was in the mix..he outplayed Holman all four games in the Christmas tourney over here in Illinois.

^ Why didn't Holman start?

He didn't start with Bruce Pearl in attendance? That's interesting

I thought I saw that he & Wright both started the game on the bench.

Darion Morrow leads Owensboro with 22 & Justin Miller adds 13.

Eli Wright leads all scorers with 23.

Holman or Miller didn't start in one of the games in the EHT..I'm not sure if they try an start off small to be quick..In the game when they didnt start over here Morrow had 22 in the first quarter. He seems to be much improved this season...

It was known well before the game that both Holman and Wright would not be in the starting lineups. Saw some speculation on twitter that it was some type of punishment but no indication as to what for.

As far as the actual game goes, Owensboro really did not play well and still managed to get the win on the road. Neither Holman nor Miller were really a factor in this game until the 4th quarter. Apollo was up 12 late in the 3rd quarter before squandering the lead. I will say Apollo's offense looked much better tonight than it has lately.

So two different players from two different teams were punished? That's bizarre

Darion Morrow lead OHS with 22 points. Justin Miller had 13 points and Holman had 6 points, 13 rebounds, 7 blocks, 3 assist, and 3 steals per Mark Mathis twitter.

Eli Wright had 23 points, 16 rebounds, Coomes had 13 points, and Moss had 12 points.

Also stated it should be a week or two before Young is playing with Apollo.
