Who is #1 right now?

I'm not a fan of Trinity holding on to No. 1 even after a loss. I think the moral of the story is that it's impossible to do a top 25 of high school teams but it's fun to talk about.

I wouldn't have a problem keeping Trinity at #1 if they looked better than what they did. I expected them to be a better looking team. From what I saw and for where we are today I wouldn't have Trinity as my #1 team but I understand if and why people would keep them at #1. The City of Palms is a prestigious national tournament and to make the semis of that tournament is impressive. I get it why Trinity would remain #1 but like you I wouldn't have them #1 at this moment.

I would still put Trinity at number 1. I have a feeling they will be the hardest team to beat when all the chips are down later in the season.

I agree but if Trinity runs into a really athletic team that presses them and fights like Henderson they could be beaten.

I think Trinity is #1 right now but there is a legitimate chance they won't win the 7th. That regional tournament is going to be brutal this year as in most.

Realky? Henderson beat trinity and manual! Another thing Henderson has not shot well so far and once they get the 3 rolling again look out.

1. Trinity

2. Knott Central

3. Ballard

4. Henderson County

5. Taylor County

Yes Lexington Catholic got beat by Henderson.

Henderson Co. shot 54% overall against Manual (24/46) including 40% 6/15 from 3 point range. While Manual only shot 36% (22/61), 4/21 from 3 for 19%.

Didn't shoot that good vs Trinty or Lex Cath. Matter fact their best three pt shooter had just one vs Trinty and 0 vs Lex Cath. Henderson made no threes vs Lex Cath and I think just 3 vs Trinty. They like to make 6 to 7 a game.

That's not what the ranking should be imo. It's not who you think has the best chance of winning it all. It is who has earned the right to be called #1 at this time.

I think regardless of ranking, most would agree that any team in the top 10 could beat any other.

2. Knott Co Central

3. Henderson Co

4. Trinity

5. Manual

6. Taylor Co.

7. Lex Catholic
