Mason County 72 Montgomery County 63 OT

Featured Replies

Final per the Scoreboard.

Tied at 56 at the end of regulation.

Heard that this one went into OT. Henry with 31 and 11 I think

Braxton Hopkins put back a missed 3 to send the game to ot, capping a 4th quarter comeback for Montgomery, but Mason got up in ot, and Montgomery could never gain control in the extra period.

Henry and Williams for Mason and Fuller and Walker for Montgomery made the all tournament team.

Mason County picks up its 1,200th career win tonight.

These win totals are from the KHSAA website. It's pretty darn phenomenal what Mason County has done in comparison to other schools that have had a program much longer.

Pretty impressive since those other schools have had program for decades longer than the Royals.

For those of you who are big on "home-court advantage" (as many of you know, I am not); what would this score have been on a neutral court?

I say that tonight, Mason County would have won by 9.

When Montgomery County is hitting from the outside they are a tough team to beat.

Same is true of a bunch of teams.:thumb:

Even more impressive than that Royals win total is that in 55 years of basketball they have had just 5 losing seasons, haven't had one since 1989-1990. 49 years of 15 wins or more, including this year. Now if they can just figure out a way to beat Augusta in a couple months. lol

How in the heck did you end up in Saginaw, Michigan?

Yes but this Montgomery County team is full of 3 point shooters. Live and die from the 3.

Henry was dominant.

Indians played much better than last night and showed they can play with the top teams in the region.

Fuller with 10 points 10 assists for the Indians. The more I watch him the more I think he may be the best point guard in the region.
