Any stats from the game? East Jess hit a lot of 3's

I don't have stats but I was told that Trevon Faulkner was the player of the game in the first half and that Drew Davis was the player of the game in the second half. Will Hager was under the weather but still played and he hit some clutch free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.

If my math is correct, Faulkner had 20 points.

Mercer County points: Faulkner 20, Hager 16, Davis 10, Mink 8, Dow 8, Bartleson 4.

East: Jones 16, Jackson 16, Harper 9, Smith 9, Ross 6, Pitney 3.

East jumped out to an early lead, going 5/5 from three in the first 9 minutes. Had a good third quarter but Mercer made a run in the fourth. When a team makes a run against East it's tough for them to answer with ball movement. They tend to go one-on-one when the pressure is on, which hurts.

Thanks for the stats and I agree with your assessment. Mercer turned up the pressure defensively in the fourth and East seemed to try and dribble out of the traps which turned into turnovers.

From what I was told E. Jess. had a 12 lead after the 1st QT.
