Camels finally put it together and drained several 3s.

I would have guessed going thru Wilson would be the way to win this one for the Camels? Looking forward to the box scores.

Well that is one way to explain it if you are a Campbell Co. supporter. :-)

I'll start by saying that CC deserved to win this game as they outplayed HC after the first quarter (20-15 HC). However, that being said the reason the lead Clyde went from 6 to 23 was the foul/free throw differential. Refs totally lost control at the start of the 4th and didn't know what to call and when. When you are the road team that sometimes happens.

Camp Co - 19 for 28

HC - 2 for 9

* While HC did take a lot of jump shots in the 2nd half they drove to the rim a lot in 2nd half and didn't get the benefit of a call. I'm not sure if these 3 officials went to the same school as the 9th region refs, but these guys allowed you to guard with 1 and sometimes 2 hands on the ball handler. And while they allowed that then would call a touch foul underneath.

Bottom line was that Camp Co was the better team and deserved to win tonight. If you are an HC fan I think you leave saying I would love to get them on a neutral court. That is all I will say.

Lastly - hats off to the gentlemen from Camp Co at the scores table, they were awesome all night. Very professional and did a great job.

CC

Jackson 21 (18 in 2nd half)

Wilson 14 (10 in 2nd half)

HC

Jakubowski 12

Schrand 8

Barnes 8

What did CC do to keep Bezold from scoring?

Apparently fouled him all night based on comments above....

Unofficially Jackson with 21. Wilson with 14 points and 14 rebounds. Losey with 10. Camels out-rebound HC 38-17.

Camels 7-13 from 3 point range (53.8%). HC 9-29 from behind the arc (31%). HC definitely lives and dies by the 3.

Congrats to the Camels on the Win. Holy cross came out and punched the Camels right in the face. As said above, HC lived and died with the three tonight. Their shot selection was not great on many positions, they pulled the trigger kind of quick with the three. HC played all out early, and seemed to run out of steam late. Don't know that I agree with the Refs references, both teams benefited from the way the game was called. Both teams had several non calls.

I wasn't at the game, but Holy Cross shooting almost 30 3's tells me why Campbell got to the line a lot more.
