I love the Bowl Games...you get to see teams play that would normally never play and in many cases there are some really good games.

 

No. The four-team playoff is equally pointless and reinforces dumb football things that make no sense. I want an expanded playoff that results in a month of games.

 

For my viewing interest: 24 team playoff. Top 8 get byes and the next 9-16 play the first week.

LSU is playing Notre Dame in the Music City Bowl... The hang up was the opponent, and that opponent was Louisville.

 

Louisville vs LSU in Nashville would have absolutely been a home game for Louisville.

One of my good friends is a diehard LSU fan and he was seeing reports that LSU didn't think fans would travel well to play UofL in Nashville. So either either you know more than LSU or are wrong.

I have never not seen LSU not travel well. I have seen them pack Commonwealth stadium against not so great UK teams every time they play at UK. I would be surprised if LSU didn't at least bring as many as UL would in what would be a much bigger matchup than playing UK in the regular season.

 

I'm sorry, it just sounds like sour grapes from the UL fans to me. To think that LSU is "scared" to play anyone makes little to no sense, given whom they have already played. The logical explanation is that UL fans are upsset that their bowl stock keeps dropping after a great season. I would be upset too, but I wouldn't take it out on LSU.
