The crazy thing about Beckham...

His numbers are pretty close to all the other rookie WR's...and he missed several games at the beginning of the season. Not only that...he missed training camp, and all of the pre-season.

I think he should be the rookie of the year, but clearly I am biased :lol2:

Watkins is a freak but will he ever have a competent QB?

OBJ is good, but if he played in Jacksonville or Buffalo or Cleveland people would not put him on the perch he is on. Playing in New York or Dallas does matter, it is the way it is. Haden is the best of this group and they are mostly a very good group.

No QB listed but Wlison and Luck are the best of them all in these guys years of experience group, not even close. But they were probably left for a reason.

OBJ would be on pace for around 100 catches, 1400 yards and 10 touchdowns based on his play through 9 games this season. The hype would be there no matter where he is.

Don't agree with you on that. Playing for the Giants is huge in the hype department. He is very good, but just getting started. Lets see what happens when teams game plan against him. He may still be awesome but he dose not get the attention of Green or Johnson.

I'll go with talent and take Clowney or Watkins. Only two guys with the potential to be transcendent IMO.

He's the only good receiver the Giants have. If teams aren't game planning by now something is wrong.

OBJ wasn't getting much hype until the catch. He had a few really good games before that catch.

Being in NY definitely helps the hype, not disagreeing there. But the way he's playing and the amazing plays he makes would be noticed anywhere.

Clowney can't stay on the field. When he played I don't remember anything extraordinary. Watkins is very good, as is Mike Evans, Kelvin Benjamin and OBJ. This year had a great WR class.

I don't disagree with you for the most part. OBJ is definitely confident. He definitely has "swagger". He is not arrogant. He is not Dez Bryant. Not even close.

There's a big difference in what you remember happening on the sideline, and what actually happened. Believe it or not, I still have the game on my DVR. (I usually delete it right after the Giants lose...but couldn't do it with this one because of the catch)

OBJ didn't even smile. He celebrated right after the TD (who wouldn't have?) and he walked around on the sidelines while everyone slapped him on the back. He looked like he just caught a 5 yard pass.

He said after the game,

So he wasn't standing on top of a bench yelling up into the crowd during the game? Maybe not right after the catch, but I could have sworn he was doing that. He had that "look" on his face. That type of stuff reminds of me Dez Bryant, Chad Johnson, Terrell Owens for their good attributes and competiveness. To me its a compliment.

Arrogance might not have been the right word because of the negative connotation that goes with it.

It's incredible the impact that the rookie WRs are having on the league this year, that usually doesn't happen. You can even throw in guys like Martvius Bryant and Bradin Cooks was getting some things done too.

He celebrated right after the catch, then basically walked around the sidelines with a blank look on his face while everyone congratulated him.

I think of TO and Ocho as whiney, "look at me" receivers. Dez, not as much. ODB isn't that type of player based on what I've seen.
