Rumor has it he enrolled at Ryle today. So I guess that about ends the rumors of him playing for CCH or Cooper.

 

Its an interesting choice his parents have made. They have put him in a difficult spot as a player. If they win, he could get more credit than he deserves which could upset his teammates because it dismisses the work the current team has put in. If they lose, then it is the same except in reverse. I don't know the kid or the situation but I hear his dad has shopped him around trying to find the best possible spot for him to come in and play. What does that say to the #2 QB there right now, what type of issue or problem does this cause with the parents if the new kid does not win the starting QB spot. I think the teams that he did not choose to play for should take a sigh of relief. I cannot imagine what all comes with a player who has that history before he takes one snap.

I have heard the O'Hara kid is pretty talented, any chance that he beats out this Morgan kid? Perhaps that should be a different thread, but how will the kid feel if he goes out and gets beat out by the young man that was supposed to be Ryle's QB of the future? I tend to agree with you Bison, while I have heard that he is a talent, it sounds like there is a lot of "extra baggage" that has gone along with this young man. I wish him luck at Ryle!

Very true, and as I do not know the circumstances around the decision of what school to attend, I do know that before he and his family moved the first time he was going to Ryle so that may have been a reason for going back to Ryle (as I hope that was the reason he is going back to Ryle). He has played with the boys on the team currently as an 8th grader and freshman etc.

 

I'd hate for the reason to be anything other than what I stated above because I would hate the thought of "shopping" your kid around to the best offer as if it was a recruiting choice like DI college.

I have not seen Morgan play but have seen O'Hara several times and he is a very good QB with a year in the system under his belt. O'Hara could have started varsity for Ryle this year then you would have a real dilemma.

Remember both of the qb's parents chose to send their kids to Ryle. One because they moved into the district and the other because a parent is on the school board or administration.
