HC wins by 8!

As I understand it the student body has begun a charity for Grace White, the daughter of Lt Colonel Scott White, a graduate of CCH, and mother Amy, a graduate of NDA. Student tickets are $10 with all student ticket sales going to the family. CCH expects a sell out and does not want to have the same issue with the NCC game last year to happen.

Q - you know I love your posts most of the time and I was just giving you a hard time because you seem to have a hatred for HC for some reason and never say anything positive. LOL....I know HC starting their season with big wins over 2 big 6A schools was a great start for this team after winning only 7 games all last year. They may come back to earth tomorrow night but I know this team has worked extremely hard since end of last year and will be much improved and will win their share of games this year. They have only 2 seniors this year as well. Good luck to the Birds and Coach Listerman this year.

 

No Hatred at all....I have always had a lot of respect for the Basketball program at HC going way back so you got that wrong. As far as the Birds go, I am kind of out of the loop since my son graduated 2 yrs ago. I do know they are in great hands with Kevin Listerman. He will get every ounce of hustle/effort out of those boys.

If Barnes for HC stays out of foul trouble bo will have a tough time.

 

I saw Bo play AAU all summer... against bigger, better competition... so, I will stand by my prediction with great confidence. He will be a matchup problem for whoever HC tries to put on him. Big night for Bo!

Fully admitting I do not get weather and science, how does NOT playing a JV game help with moisture? Isn't the moisture caused by the door opening constantly and the moist air coming in? The door is still going to be opened by the same number of people.

 

What am I missing?

The game is officially a sellout. There will be no tickets sold at the door. No pre-sale tickets available either.

Just saw in the other HC Radio thread that for the first time ever, Cov Cath iRadio - will be video as well! So, at least if you do not have your ticket yet, you can watch. Pretty cool IMO (as long as the camera does not stay focused on iRadio man himself all night!

You likely know more about it than I do, but (at least in last year's NCC game) I think the problem was the quick change of temperature. I remember days before the NCC game temperatures were sub-zero then jumped up to about 48 on gameday. The ground underneath the gym was frozen because of the zeros, so the jump in temperature plus 1200 fans packing in caused the floor to essentially condensate.

I think the video will only be during live action ie it will not be archived.

CVH is a matchup problem for HC. Too strong physically. Only HC player stronger is #22.

 

I think bo shu (sp) will be the bigger issue for hc with his size and ability to play inside out. no doubt cvh will be a factor in the game.
