Dang! Thanks for the heads up.

Highlands will usually will have someone walking next to the line and selling tickets off a roll if the lines get too long. I'll get to the tailgate at 4, buy my ticket and then go across the street to enter at close to game time.

Will be plenty of tickets available... If the crowd was lacking last week it will be weaker this week.

Was it really lacking lst weekend with Cov Cath vs FT Highlands? Anybody know why last weekend and this coming weekend too?

Not at all...1st go round with CovCath filled the stands and was one of the larger crowds in some time as somehow Highlands got "not so good anymore" and "this was CovCath's yr" and wham...

Did I say wham...the first score was ugly and so was the second go round crowd even though the Blueboys put up an admirable fight until the end:thumb:

Basically Highlands only has a huge crowd if the word gets out that the Birds are going to get beat...something about people coming out of the woodwork to see Highlands get beat...

I do not expect long lines or a large crowd this week for that matter but I do expect LC to play the game of their lives and test the Birds all the way until the end...

It's not just people wanting to see HHS get beat, there are a lot of Bird fans who only come out when a good game is probable. That should definitely include Friday's game. We shall see.

So Highlands was not in session Monday or Tuesday? LexCath was not is session either? You all couldn't sell tickets at Thanksgiving Day practice? :idunno:

Sounds like a case of lazy Athletic Departments. I am happy to say Meade County worked with Trinity and the Rocks Athletic Department had tickets for sale Monday! They were available Tues (normal hours) and Wednesday -Only teachers and students were off. Tickets were also sold during Thursday morning practice at Trinity. :dancingpa

In 1991 Clark County (aka Goerge Rogers Clark) pulled that stunt and refused to allow Trinity any pre-sale tickets. Many people missed the first quarter entirely and part of the second quarter.:banghead:

I agree that there could have been a way to offer early ticket sales. Not a huge deal, I'll just head up a half hour earlier than normal and watch more pregame.

I don't see the big deal. Many people are off today and should not be rushed to arrive at kickoff. Anyone near by, Ft. Thomas in particular could run up there at 4. It is highly unlikely it will sell out. I do see a segment of fans, not HHS, attending hoping the Bird's lose so to those I say: Pay your money - the more the merrier! HHS has nothing to prove but many people on BGP believe this is a "down year" for the Birds. I totally disagree, it is a different year, like all years, but season to date I would take Hoge at QB over many of the recent QB's. He is truly a difference maker. Lastly, I will close with the standard, Just Saying, even though I was reprimanded for using that quote!
