The Dixie SK game may not be a very good game at all because Dixie could be up several scores by the 2nd qtr, Beechwood / Frankfort may be the 2nd best game on your list but the best game may be NCC/Newport. But for my money the most competitive game may be the Cooper/Anderson Co.

 

Refresh my memory, was it Anderson County that had a crazy shoot out with Conner last year or the year before?

That was Conner/ Franklin County in 2011 and 2012.

That was with Franklin County the last 2 years.

 

Cooper beat Anderson Co. in 2012 and Anderson Co. beat Cooper last year after knocking out Cooper's starting QB. At the time of the injury Cooper was up 35-21 at Halftime but ended up losing 45-35 after their QB got knocked out.

Id rank them, from most likely to be a nailbiter to least likely

 

1. Newport-NCC- by far

2. Simon Kenton-Dixie - will be closer than the first meeting, but Dixie should win.

3. CovCath-Highlands- probably will be the most entertaining game of the four

4. Frankfort-Beechwood

Dixie/SK is 5 mins from my house. That's where I'm leaning. I think SK pride shows better in this game. Maybe not enough to win but enough to watch.

 

Next up is Newport/NCC. Great public/private battle of small school football.

 

No way I'm watching CC/Highlands. As much as I am a public school guy, can't watch Highlands pummel CovCath...again. Although I don't think Highlands romps to another title. In fact, wouldn't shock me if they lose at some point along the way. Not likely, but certainly possible. The "Mueller Mystique" is certainly gone.
