DreamKiller Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Rematch of a 31-24 Caldwell County win at Murray
snakesnot_2000 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Caldwell....unless they self implode
rookie57 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 (edited) Caldwell....unless they self implode I'll take Murray, simply because snake took Caldwell. Edited November 15, 2014 by Ram Rule 13
broadcaster240 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Third straight year the teams will have played for the region championship...all at Caldwell. Murray won last year; Caldwell in 2012.
TIGER1988 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Friday night we will find out the HEART of Caldwell. Huge game. Will be the game of the year for Caldwell if they show up and play. Otherwise it will be a replay of Mayfield.
stepscalled Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 Not many gave Murray a chance at Owensboro Catholic; Murray should not win the game at Caldwell but hey. that is why they play the game.
PtownDude Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I think overall Caldwell is the more talented team. I also think overall that Murray doesn't care who the more talented team is. And there is a lot to be said for having confidence this time of year, and Murray does have confidence. I expect Caldwell to get punched in the mouth Friday night. How Caldwell responds will determine the outcome.
snakesnot_2000 Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 If its cold and windy and Sindilar can't make his throws then Murray's ground game comes into play. If Caldwell gets 2 scores behind then it's tough sleddin. I still like Caldwell being at home.
UK fball fan Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I like Caldwell, as well.. I do think they'll have to be able to run the ball effectively and not just rely on airing it out, but, they have the skill backs to get it done.. Murray's gonna be Murray and play there game, milking the clock, trying to establish long, time consuming drives and keeping the Caldwell offense off the field as much as possible.. Caldwell's D will need to play big, especially in the trenches and not allow that big OL to knock em off the ball all night.. I think they'll hold there own and score enough to come out on top, but, if they aren't able to control Murrays OL or establish a running game, it could be a long night..
Wits-end Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Weather pointing once again to Murray in what some will consider a upset. Lets go with 31-21
CCHSTiger10 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I see the defense for Caldwell stepping up big for this game. In the regular season game, which Caldwell won 31-24, Murray only had one long scoring drive. The other scores were set up by big punt returns and kickoff returns. And Caldwell's defense came away with a INT on Murray's last drive to seal off the win. I think Murray will put up a struggle, but if Caldwell gets up by a couple of scores there will be no looking back for Caldwell. I'm going with Caldwell to win this one 35-21
Rambo4343 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Not many gave Murray a chance at Owensboro Catholic; Murray should not win the game at Caldwell but hey. that is why they play the game. I don't think alot of people knew the size difference and athleticism of Murray vs. O'Cath. C'Cath does not have the athletes or size it use to.
truecardinalfan Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Caldwell Co wins 42-35 if Caldwell lets it stay as close as this the Murray will win
