Male came in averaging close to 170 on the ground. Rocks hold them to less than 2 yds per carry.

Fun game to watch. Great come back by Trinity. I was a little surprised by the penalties by Trinity. Most of them were caused by kids not knowing their job. That team showed lots of heart last night. Looking forward to next week. The fight at the end and the fans were a disappointment

Thanks for the stats.......lots of leaders out there last night starting with Ryan Young. Did not get there till the 2nd half due to other committment but heard he made a heckuva run for that TD at the end of the first half. May have been the play to get them over the hump. Other seniors made plays on both sides of the ball and luckily penalties did not decide this game. some justified but a couple terrible calls IMO. Not sure who started the ruckus after the game but looked like Male came after THS. Should be fun next Friday night. GO ROCKS!!!!!!!

It was pointed out to me that stat-man Mr Owens made an error. Young threw one interception for Trinity while Mattingly threw three interceptions, 2 by Eskins.

Cain only having 41 yards was HUGE for T; made them 1-dimensional.

I was at the game. Yes the fight at the end was a disappointment. I'm not sure what you could have been disappointed about with the fans. We were vocal and cheering on the Rocks. We also booed the refs a bit because they were flag happy.

Is there video of the Male-Trinity game out there anywhere? Thanks.

Cards, wasn't Rocks fans that disappointed me. Many adult Male fans let their mouths run reckless after the game. It is never good to see adults giving a bad example to kids in public. All in all, it was a blast of a game. Looking forward to next week

Re Trinity's 2014 penalties ~ yes it seems as if both our O and D have been getting flagged more often. Except for one or two calls all year, and those are maybes, I think the flags were appropriate. Some of the contact was incidental but a flag was valid. Several games I missed but I have seen 9 of 12. Must be driving the coaches nuts. I know in the St X game in October, we had 9 penalties alone in the first half (12 for the game) & most were just bonehead stuff: D linemen either too eager or getting fooled by clever signal-calling; false starts on O.

What's sad is that parents on the Trinity side, storming the field, attacking kids instead of trying to separate them. I don't care who started it. No justification for that!!!!

Found out about the cause of the fight.

 

Was told by friend that Coach Beatty told Male's Coach to "enjoy turning in your equipment tomorrow".

This evidently set off Male's coach.

 

Poor way to end a great game. Beatty should not have said that and Male's coach should have walked away

Can't blame Coach Wolfe for responding the way he did.

I'm not sure what you think you saw but their were no parents on the field during the fight. No students either.
