If DeSales holds on, CAL and DeSales will meet for the 4th straight year in the playoffs.

Bardstown led this game 10-9 with 5:30 to go in 3rd quarter. Played very hard. Balls just didn't bounce their way tonight. CAL fumbled on the Tiger 5 before CAL's second score, ball rolled around for ages and noone jumped on it. Before their third score, CAL QB threw a pass right into defender's hands in end zone and he couldn't hang onto it. Driving for a score late in 3rd period with CAL up 6, Keanu Young gets horse-collared to the ground right in front of the sideline judge, injuring him. Refs were about to start the next play with Keanu laying there in the field of play. After stopping it (with David Clark jumping up and down like a wild man), in the ensuing confusion, the backup QB fumbled a snap and tried to make a late handoff, which was fumbled. It just wasn't in the cards tonight.

#80 for CAL is a great player. We couldn't block him.

This was a horrifically one-sided officiated contest, favoring the Centurions. Those who know me on here know I don't say that often. It affected the outcome of the game.

I am now a DeSales fan. The clock operator at CAL should be ashamed of him/herself, as should anyone sitting up there in that booth that watched it happen and did nothing. What you did was deliberate, and it happened all game long. It happened last year, too. Wear those Christian crosses proudly, brother, but you are no better than a car with a fish bumper sticker flipping people the bird.

Go Colts.

#80=Jake Paulson (TE/DE), just a sophomore

Welcome to Jefferson County - all throughout the area the Catholic schools run their own show and it's nothing but home cooking. Wasn't at the game but I'm sure you have a legitimate gripe Hearsay. It's just that there is nothing anyone can do about it.

CAL isn't Catholic...

Well, not quite, but evangelical Protestantism is pretty close...

On the possible clock issue, if there was an issue the refs are to blame as well. They are in charge.

The refs and the booth people both blew that one. Refs were busy trying to sort it all out, and at the same time the clock operator started and stopped the clock three times while they were figuring it out. For what it's worth, when they finally reset the clock, it was right within about four seconds.

Hearsay, I agree with you regarding the one sided officiating. I have NEVER been one to blame referees for losses, however this past Friday was different. I really thought the Tigers were going to take this one. The clock operator did have some issues for sure as well. Tiger's are going to have a rough hand in the new district/region next couple years. Best wishes from a former Tiger to them.

Was his dad's name Robert? Sorry I couldn't resist,

As someone also stated Welcome to Jefferson co. brother!! I've never played in, coached, or watched a game in Jefferson Co. were the away team was giving anything CLOSE to a fair game.
