Hoping someone is "out," to MOST people, would mean hoping they are hurt... Why else would they be out? Wishing injury on someone is below classless, regardless of any rivalry.

 

I find bigger things to get so upset about. Wishing opposing players were out of the game is pretty common among any fan base by a majority of people. I don't know to many people holding memorial services when a rivals star is out of the game or wished they were playing.

I care because THIS is the reason I can't stand UK fans. If the shoe was on the other foot, KSR would have melted down yesterday with negative UL comments.

 

And why does that bother you ? You know what KSR is and have admitted you hate it. So why would you care about their reaction.

I've been around Sports my entire life and a majority of fans may not cheer for an injury of a rival there not gonna lose sleep over it and like it if it improves chances of winning .

However, let's remember that the original narrative was not correct. He wasn't wishing injury upon anyone. Even said he hated it for the kid. He just wants to improve UK's chances of winning thus the Dyer comment. Every fan base would be glad if a star player wasn't able to perform against their team. That's not news.

You can assume what you want about what I wish on other teams and people, but just because you wish ill will on other teams doesn't mean everyone does... I may not "lose sleep" over it, but I absolutely would rather beat a team at full strength than have an "excuse" for why they lost afterwards.
