Mason Co's Middleton injured

Featured Replies

Russ Middleton went down in the 2nd qtr. with a hamstring injury. Has had problems with it before. His status for Friday is uncertain at this time, but in the post game conference Coach O'hearn said "It doesn't look good"

Oh man, what a time for an injury to happen. We will keep Middleton in our prayers. I know that this could be a very bad time for something like this. Mason Co will have to regroup and forge ahead.:thumb:

Hope for a speedy recovery, and hope he can play Friday. But, his future is ahead of him, so I wouldnt try and push it here.

Is he a starter?

Yes he is. He is either their second or third scoring option behind Miller and maybe turner.

He won't be playing tomarrow or the rest of the tourney from a reliable source.

Middleton was just spotted at Rupp Arena on crutches. Doesn't look good for tomorrow's game.

That happened on the end of the court where I was sitting. It didn't look that bad when it he went down, but apparently worse than it appeared. I hope the young man will be ok.

Sorry to hear that. I hope Mason County is able to overcome that.
