So you overlook some of the outlandish statements made by " some " Dixie fans. We're are suppose to just sit and take it. Read the thread from the beginning and you tell me who turned the tide of the thread. I post in response. If you don't like my responses don't post garbage and talk trash. That's the way it works. So I went back to read every post before the quoted one. This is what I have come up with:

Guru (not a dixie fan): Dixie is better but Ryle is gaining

hrcarrier (not a dixie fan I don't think): home team by 20

ennam_iv: blowout for dixie

colonel_red: both teams are moving in the right direction

Pigskin Junkie (not a Dixie fan): dixie by 3 scores

Hellbird (not a Dixie fan): dixie wins

Mustang (not a Dixie fan): dixie by 21+

Voice of Reason (not a Dixie fan): dixie by a wider margin than regular season

Big tuna (not a Dixie fan I don't think): Dixie 35-7

 

So most post predicting a Dixie win are by non-Dixie fans and I don't see disrespect.

 

But let's look at your posts:

 

You called people insane for predicting a blowout which is their opinion. You said some people "have it coming" and they are lucky it's a home game so they could "cry in their living rooms".

Mr England has not been 100% all year. He has played through an aggrevating, painful groin issue. He has gutted it out week by week, No shot, nothing but shear determination and pain. Now in saying that he had still managed to rush for over 1000 yards, on a sub .500 teams which leads me two conclusions. We are better than our record just not consistant all year and he is that good. He has had had carries that made us jump out of our seats all while injured but playing. The beggining or the year people said he was soft becsuse he wasn't on the field while injured. Now he has been but that's not enough for people either. Can't please everyone. Can't wait till this young man is 100% healthy. Hope that clears the air. And yes I have lashed out at the "insane" idea of this game being a cake walk, blow out. To think that this game at this point in the season is going to be like that, when the first one wasn't? Just don't get it but whatever.

I'm with you. I can't wait until next year. He is so much fun to watch.

I just hope Ryle didn't hurt him more by rushing him back and that includes their 1st game. Groin injuries without surgery is done just need time to heal and I don't know if they let it properly heal and that is why at this time in the season he is still bothered by it. MLB players with the same injury have missed entire seasons getting it healthy and we all know football is more stressful on groin injuries than baseball.

 

I I love the kid and hope nothing but the best for him, I just hope they give him time to heal.

Yes, it's an internet forum and everyone is "entitled"......and that's the problem. Be entitled to support and lift up, not inject criticism, arrogance, and disrespect. Kids and young adults deserve better. Not feeling the perspective? So be it....no need to motivate kids with disrespect when they already have enough motivation as it is with a playoff loss and a season coming to an end. I've never been a fan of negative inisghts/angles. Start getting proactive with your program if you have to hide behind an anonymous avatar by degrading others or just simply leave it alone. Maybe that's a good thing, maybe it's not?

Depends on the offense. In most it seems like they're simply another blocker with the occasional pass reception thrown in for good measure. It's a position that just seems overlooked in most offenses I can remember seeing and that is puzzling.

In a close one I'll take Dixie. Should be another dog fight.

I believe Dixie will get their chance at SK next weekend and I wouldn't count on SK "giving" them anything either.

36 -10 with a 29-3 lead going into the fourth is pretty much laying down.
