Do you still think he should be a tight end? He is a really good running back with good size.

Yea, but it really all depends on where he goes. I think you can put him anywhere including WR and I the right system can be successful.

say UK is after him and that is his #1 choice

and UK also gets D Harris. Along with their other RB's they have and their TE's don't you think he would not only get a better chance to get in the field faster as Te but could be their best TE. No one is going to think he can beat out Harris and some of their other RB's on the roster now.

 

It it all depends on the school and the system

he can play multiple positions so does it really matter what any of us think?

With the right QB, he would be a very solid high school TE. Might be injured less often, too, which would be a huge plus.

England is not even close to tall enough to play TE at the D1 level. He is a the size, feet, speed and athletic ability to play rb in college at the smaller school d1 level IMO. Friday should be a slugfest by the two best 6a football teams in nky. Winner of this game will go to the state championship.

As a Dixie fan. Ryle is much more physical than SK. I do think they are at this point number two in 6a NKY.

Timmons has the size and speed for a DI WR, that doesn't mean he's a great WR. What is sad is the fact that size is the biggest reason some kids get DI offers yet their are actually better players who never get a look. There is a RB for Thomas More that could play at any DI school, I've seen many WR's at that level that are better players than many DI WR's yet they never got a look. What I'm trying to say is there are players that may not meet the expected size that some require to play a position in some eyes yet those smaller guys sometimes become some of the best players at those positions. I would bet England would make a pretty decent TE at any level in college.

 

I will throw this out there, just one that comes to mind, Walker for TN Titans is a TE and I don't even know if he is 6' tall and if he is it isn't by a lot.

I couldn't agree more that many great undersized players do not get looks by D1 schools. It is what it is and coaches like big bodies at the higher levels. That being said England is 6'1 and no D1 college coach is going to recruit him as a TE.

A solid high school TE is a big kid with good hands who can block, catch and run. Need anything else? I'll be up another hour or so.

I think we are on the same page. I was going on your comment where you said

I agree with uk#1fan ... if England plays D1 it will be at LB, or maybe strong safety.
