I forgot, the 2 teams that Meade County played with winning records beat them

We were not a big passing offense last year and we all know who really won.

That would have made it 21-14 if I remember correctly with about 2 min to go. Yes Scott may have came back to tie it but, based on how hard points were to come by for both teams it would have been difficult.

The fact that you gave your Current record of 9-2 doesnt mean much. At one point, the first 4 teams Meade County played had a combined record of 1-24, it did get much better as the final 2 teams Meade played only had a combination of 3 wins. In fact Meade County only played 2 teams out of 10 during the regular season with winning records, stunningly bad competition, average offense that has run up the scores against the likes of Breckinridge County 1 win, Muhlenburg County 4 wins, North Bullitt 1 win, a North Hardin,1 win, Jeffersontown 1 win

 

Actually, the combined records for the teams Meade played this year was 45 wins-55 losses. I believe Central Hardin had a simular schedule 45 wins-55 losses. Central played 3 teams with winning records as did Meade. Meade played both undefeated teams in 6A. Central Hardin played 0. Meade has played 3 teams in the top 10 in 6A to Central Hardin-1. So lets not compare schedules. As to running the scores up. Our coaches don't do that. I believe the rumor was JH put their second team in, but Central kept their first team in. Mmm..what would you call that.

 

Yes Central finally got a win after 15 YEARS over a less than 100% Meade when they played by 1 point. Really...We had this discussion before schedules are made 3-4 years out, it is impossible to foresee which team on the schedule will be good or bad any given year. In the playoffs Meade has played #7 & #2 teams in 6A. Central Hardin neither team ranked in the top 10 !!!!! My orginal point was why change what you are doing if you are winning.

Yes and Bryan Station still lost. Well, Meade really has no reason to pass. Its a grinding, time of possession style of offense. Meade did complete majority of their passes against Henry Clay. We were not a big passing offense last year and we all know who really won. I don't think we are one dimensional, we pass when we need to, why get away from the run if you are winning (9-2). A matter of fact Henry Clay did not pass that much either and I think Bryan Station will regret not having a run game against Central Hardin. If we can hold Male (by far the best offense in 6A) to 17, we can hold anyone.

 

if we give up big plays (which we haven't all year) it will be a long night. We are 21-5 the last two years...we believe in our coaches and players, the recipe is working.

Well I believe Henry Clay was ranked #7 and I believe Scott Co is ranked #2 (That we are playing tonight). What was Paul Dunbar ranked and I don't think Bryan Station was in the top 10 as well. We can only hope both Meade & Central win tonight.

Thank You...hoss403. Hey I for all the teams in the area except when we play each other. I get tired of all the talk about schedules. Every team has some cupcake games...mainly because there are not that many winning programs, but you have to play someone. I mean if you look at our schedule made 3 years ago you would say man that's a pretty good schedule. I mean JH, usally the top team in the area. Doss & North always has great athletes..Warren East & Central (Here of late) are very good teams and we all know about Male. That's six pretty good teams and then you have people criticizing the record. Like they have played every top team in the state.

Really we shouldn't have had to stop them...I know Scott wants it to go away because they really know that the championship comes with an **** next to it (Won on bad call, KHSAA admits error). No matter whats happens tonight Scott will never get rid of that ghost.

No asterisk needed. Bad calls happen. There was still time for Meade to make a stop and then go score themselves. Like I said let it go because you'll never change what happened.
