Just like with anything else when rules change adjustments are made. Won't change who our coach is. By the way, only one returning player for next year received a red card this season. You all may not have much to complain about next year. Oh wait, I'm sure the color of our cleats or the way we walk will tick someone off.

It doesn't seem as if the cards in the past years is a good indicator for cards in the future years....

 

Just saying........I will say that down the stretch, the coach seemed to pull people out and protect them when they received a yellow........which was different from the beginning of the season ........and no one can argue with the teams success this year.

Back to the subject of the thread. How much heat is Jermey getting in Colonel land? Does the PHM work its magic with the soccer program or does it just focus on football and basketball?

The rumors are : Cov Cath , St.Henry, Boone, Scott and highlands will all open up. Who goes where and what coaches just give up or pursue something different.

I am not sure where the Highlands rumor is coming from, but I would be surprised if true.

I would be as well, just throwing out the rumors going through the mill. Crazy I have no dog in the fight and I still get to hear all the juice.

FACT - Administration has had issues. Dahlian was at the point of almost not coming back this year because of all the disagreements.

 

FACT - Dahlian knows the game very well and had his team firing on all cylinders at the right time.

 

TBD - Will he get another year or not? Tough to say how things will shake out from the meeting with KHSAA and how the past 2 years card tally reflects on the school/program. Personally, I'd like to see him come back next year to see if it was due to a couple bad apples or if it's him lacking control/instilling discipline in the program.

What's the word on Mike being dismissed? This one shocked me considering the success he's had at that program and always having his team peak at the right moment.

 

Also, here's some factual information in regards to the rumor mill. ALL jobs are open this coming year. The coach's association has agreed to put their team in a hat. Each coach draws a team that they get to coach the following year. Their success will be measured on how their team performs while weighting the returning talent and lost talent. Once in for all it'll end the blog debate on how much is it coaching versus the talent a program has. Sorry OTB, I know there is no room for factual information but I couldn't hold this in any longer.

I don't know about any issues or not that Scott's coach may have had but let's be honest, it makes it a bit easier to coach when you have a Treadway on your team. Without him, Scott was pretty run of the mill/average.........at best. Kick it up to him, let him try to score. Let's see how they do next year if their coach is still around.

 

Don't know anything about the other rumors but would also be surprised if McDonald was dismissed at NCC. St. Henry would be another shocker to me. As far as CCH, no news on that front that I'm aware of and I don't think it would be happening. That's not to say that there is not a lot of disappointment in the regional results.
