Special teams was special for Cooper

with 3 blocked punts and another returned for a TD by Dante Hendrix right before halftime to go up 14-7

Actually not a lot. Cooper had a decent crowd but Woodford didn't have many fans at all which made

the crowd look smaller

than usual.

It was a good game for us. WC has some HUGE players, however I think the tempo and grind of the game got to them. Looked like good sports until the end when a couple of players were acting out of frustration. Need to keep up the hard work at practice this week and go down to Franklin Co ready to work again.

I thought we were in for a LONG night after the first score by WC. But then the Jags settled in, got the defense playing as a unit and opened up on offense. TCA had a solid effort, Prickett ran and threw well and special teams stepped up BIG!

Read what i said. I said Cooper had a good turn out but WC didn't have many people which made the visitors side look empty.

ive said in the past and stand by it that I think Cooper has the best traveling fanbase. Every playoff game over the last 3 years we have outnumbered home team fans.

 

btw it was 2nd home playoff game but first playoff win at home.
