I had no idea that Whitman had an injury that he battled back from. I love these type of stories, because we forget that these kids are 15 years old rehabbing to get back on the field......

It's his bitterness coming out because of Coach Perry. An intelligent person would look and realize that LC only played against 2 schools in their city. So a school like LC playing 6A schools is stepping up. He sounds like the bitter ex wife still holding on. Let it go man let it go. Those 3 RBS have nothing to do with Hardin

Umm, they water their field down and run it down your throat, if he plans on cutting on this field good luck. Will be the worst field conditions they will have played on all season, guaranteed

 

First, Meade doesn't water down the field. Just so happens one year the old grounds person left the water on the day before Meade faced North Hardin. It was sloppy but it was not intentional. Second, Meade players have a lot of respect for what Buford has done this year and Henry Clay. He is a great back and Meade is not taking Henry Clay lighty.

Have fun with Coach Perry, New Central Hardin coach, Mattingly from Meade County, has brought a toughness and hard nosed defensive philosophy that was missing from last years team.

Attitude and passion starts with the defense and has an effect on the rest of the team. I just think Central Hardin has the IT factor this year. They still have a tough road but have the opportunity to play at home through out the playoffs. By the way since Central and Meade are in the same region, they have a lot to do with the success of those running backs.

^^ Wait! This is the same Central Hardin that struggled against a non playoff 4A team ( Mercer Co. ) right? So 2 things that would indicate why they are 10-0. They play a cupcake schedule and/ or if a weak Mercer Co played them well and that same Mercer Co was crushed by Boyle Co and Lex Catholic, then these 2 teams can take on that powerhouse Central Hardin. What do you think about my analogy?

I am not going to get into the middle of this but I will say that Central Hardin is the real deal this year. I don't see them beating Scott County but they are a very good team. That's it, I am outta this thread.

Believe me, I did not call out Central Hardin. Hardin County Preps is trying to make a point about how no other teams can hang with them and even called out a couple of programs stating that they can not play to Central Hardin's level. Alrighty then. Time will tell. I have no doubt that they are the real deal. You can't go 10-0 with having a decent team.

Yes, he is pretty feisty today. I think Scott County comes out of that region and I think they will beat Central Hardin to do so.

The problem I have is if you feel that Hardin is better off without Perry create a thread to get the new coach and players that recognition. You chose to say the teams they played were giving up a million points because your mad about the coach leaving. That article was about what 3 players have achieved. If you think they could beat them schedule them.

That same Scott County team that needed lightning to escape against Lafayette from Lexington? So just stop man. Jealousy is a sickness. Congrats to Buford, Jones, & Whitman because their names have already been established this season all over the state. Well bottom line is Central and Meade both can go far in the playoffs. Both are capable of beating Scott County (Bryan station did) both have great defenses. I still think Meades' has been more tested by playing both Male and Central, to good offenses. Neither team can afford to look past any opponent. Meade and Central only won by a touchdown against a 2-8 North Hardin team. North Hardin is very similar to Henry Clay, Bryan station and Paul Dunbar. Central struggled against Mercer, Bullitt East and a Meade team with several key injuries. Central could struggle to put up points especially if their QB is still recovering from his ankle sprain last week. I for one want the see Central and a healthy Meade play again in the regional.
