Voting in the poll isn't public. Curious to see how exactly how 'red' BluegrassPreps is.

So for the Kentucky voters who made it out to the polls today, who did you vote for?

Extremely red, just like the rest of the state...

Which is why I miss living in Kentucky. Living in Detroit and Cleveland the last few years has been different to say the least.

It's good for you...

I went back and forth, but opted for McConnell because I thought the race would have a very narrow margin either way. I think Mitch is bad for America, but I think Obama is worse. And I think Grimes would have been nothing more than a rubber stamp for the President.

Overall, my voting experience was depressing. Other than a couple of local candidates, I did not enthusiastically cast my ballot for anyone.

Totally agree about being depressed by the ballot that I cast.

In response to the poll question, I voted for Patterson...

I agree, one of the least enthusiastic ballots I've ever cast. The best news of today for me was hearing Gary Johnson plans to run in 2016!!!

In what should not be a surprise to anyone, I voted for David Patterson. If he didn't run I have no idea what I would have done.

Ha sure Deuce, that's why those two cities are just thriving in recent years...

Doesn't have anything to do with whether or not the cities are thriving. It's good to get out and see how other people live and maybe walk in their shoes for a bit. That's what's wrong with this state and country. Too many people refuse to acknowledge issues other than their own.

Patterson would have had my vote were it not for some info I was given on him from my wife.

I see people on a daily basis that choose to by a 6 pack instead of food. Forgive me for not feeling sorry for them.

Neither do I. What does that have to do with what I said?

Came home, told the dog my ballot, and this is how he responded...

Oh boy. I feel my ballot about to get more depressing.

You can't hold out on us now...
