NKY Top Post Players.

Featured Replies

I said anyone and I meant anyone. Didn't say he would complete it but if you know Colin at all you know he has no fear. No disrespect to any player I'm just saying he's has zero fear and is athletic enough to make the attempt.

Oh we fully agree on him.

My question wasn't really a question. More of a statement that he is the clear #1.

I read Clyde's post as a response to the thread's title question... not a response to your post.

Understood. 34 is the best big man in the area. No disputing that.

I assume we mean "other than the cat that wears #34 for NCC. "

He will draw enough attention that Weyer should have a good year as well.

Mcdonald? How big is the kid?

6'9 Wilson should be a force for the Camels.

So you give everybody an inch or two?

Boone Countys 6 foot shooting guard. Averaging 18 ppg, and is the top 3 player in the tri-state.

Ha, THAT is funny. We'll have to discuss in another thread.

I would say about 6'6 and 1/2 and 235. Kid is a force.

He was measured in the Spring at 6'8 with no shoes.

Weyer (NCC)

McDonald (NCC)

Wilson (CC)

Williams (Owen Co.)

I saw Wilson recently ans I'd say he is close to 6'9" with shoes on.

If you're looking for the best traditional low post player then you go with Wilson IMO. Bigger, stronger, more athletic than Drew.

However, he doesn't have the all-around offensive game that Drew has. He's not going to spot up for 3s and drain them.

I am really interested to watch Wilson's continued development. He certainly looks the part.

Best part of Drew's game is he knows how to finish. Wilson has not developed that skill at this point. McDonald may not always be pretty doing it, but when he wants to score he will. As you mentioned from both inside and out.

I would rank Drew's low post moves well ahead of Wilson's.

Probably so. I'm talking more about a big who likes to stay inside vs one who is very comfortable playing on the perimeter.
