I think tonight is Beechwood's 8th game. They didn't play their first game till after Labor Day. Had Holy Cross on the schedule for Saturday but I don't think that happened.

 

Maybe everyone should schedule a 10th game for this week but the 2 teams that are considered the best play each other for the championship and the teams that were supposed to play those teams could play each other to get their 10th game in.

from what I've been hearing, IF Ryle played Beechwood, they'd beat them by 70, Beechwood would never stop Ryle's rushing attack, way to big, and strong for the tigers.

Ryle's offense isn't overpowering, they just execute well beyond their level. They block downfield and maintain better than any other team. Their pulling guards are quick and seal well. The running back has great vision. They just execute better than anyone else, much better.

 

If your Linebackers don't fill off tackle, they are gone.

Ryle vs whoever..Ryle plays Cov Cath tonight. Ryle hasn't lost yet. If they do win, it will be 3 frosh seasons with combined record of 26-1 or something silly. And before Raiderbird comes back with, "yeah but when they go to varsity they don't do anything..." Ryle renews their rivalry with Highlands next season, we shall see.

I doubt this is the reason they aren't playing. And honestly, the freshman championship doesn't mean a whole heckuva lot. Does anyone remember who the freshman champions were 5 years ago? Sure it's a championship, and most would like to win it, but in the grand scheme of things, not many are losing sleep over the game not being played.

Ryle can rest assured that NKY knows they are the Frosh champs this year. Very good team.

I don't some can read too well. Once again- Frosh can not play any games past the Varsity regular season. This is why they are not having a formal Championship game this year.

My point about Beechwood is that they planned this week for the Championship. Why didn't other schools?
