Autopsy back from Brown shooting

Featured Replies

There's still no explanation as to how or why he ended up on the ground so far away from the vehicle...

According to what I've read, after the shots in the car he ran from officer Wilson before stopping and turning around. And 100 ft, if that's accurate, is only 30 yards. He could have ran that far in 5 or 6 seconds.

I think he was the ME for NYC and has worked on several high profile cases. I've never heard anything that would suggest he doesn't have high credentials. In a case like this it would not be the smart thing to do for the Brown family to have hired someone who isn't acknowledged as very capable.

His partner who was doing alot of talking to the media had no credentials and many medical examiners came out and said he didn't know what he was talking about

Don't know anything about the partner, just talking about the Dr. they hired to do the autopsy.

So then he was either shot as he was running away, or shot as he turned around (or after). That should be pretty easy to determine, I'd think.

Considering none of the shots were from behind I'd say it's unlikely he was shot running away.

It has already been determined that he was shot facing officer Wilson. It was easy to determine, once MEs examined the body. Dr. Michael Baden, who examined the body on behalf of the victim's family, reached that conclusion weeks ago.

This is very sad for the community there in MO, how silly they all look if this proves to be a lawful shooting.

It will be interesting to see if there are any "spontaneous" demonstrations or riots in Ferguson before the elections on Tuesday. I would not be shocked to see Eric Holder, Al Sharpton, or one of Obama's other race-baiting surrogates stage some kind of divisive stunt in the next few days.

I'm confused what the DOJ is doing ? It is one thing to try and prove the cop shot him illegally. But on what grounds would a civil rights case stand? Seems like they are pandering with an investigation that has no shot .
