There are some MS that feed into more than one HS in Boone such at Ockerman and RA Jones, but it still goes by where you live, district map, regardless. Three is no student or parent choice in the matter period, unless that parent is a Boone County School employee, then they may have school choice by applying, regardless of where they live and meet the criteria of grades, attendance, behavior. Conner to Ryle to Cooper to Boone, doesn't matter....fact.

Well that's good to hear! And puts that rumor to rest!

I belI've freshman numbers being low is reason some of these middle schoolers are being moved up. Volleyball seems to be more popular also

So what's the answer? Should high schools build up their numbers at the expense of the middle schools?

This should have it's own topic. I will post it.

BYLAW 3

BYLAW 3. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF YEARS BYLAW 3. MAXIMUM NUMBER OF YEARS

Sec. 1) LIMIT OF FOUR YEARS

A student promoted from grade eight (8) to grade nine (9) shall

have four (4) consecutive calendar years of eligibility from the date

of fi rst promotion by the school provided the student is eligible

according to this and all other Association bylaws. The eligibility

shall conclude with the completion of the spring sports season

following the fourth year. No additional eligibility may be granted

in a case where the grant would allow a student to compete in all

or part of the fi fth competitive season in a single sport following

the initial promotion by the school from grade eight (8).

Sec. 2) ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

The Ruling Offi cer and the Commissioner through the Due Process

Procedure, may grant additional eligibility in the case where it

has been documented by the attending physician, Principal and

Superintendent that severe illness or injury has prevented the

student from receiving necessary education services and the right

to an education has therefore been impacted rather than simply

the loss of athletic privilege. The grant of eligibility may only be

made in the cases in which the student-athlete would remain

eligible by all other Association bylaws. This provision shall not

include additional eligibility strictly for loss of participation due to

sports related injuries. No additional eligibility may be granted in

a case where the grant would allow a student to compete in all or

part of the fi fth competitive season in a single sport following the

initial promotion by the school from grade eight (8).

Younger Pangallo will be a stud in the future.

Page Noble is one of the top players in the area this year . If you don't play St. Henry you wouldn't know. Average's over 10pts a game easy and 5 or more rebounds a game. The girl can out jump most players and play's very strong defense. Marlena Kellam , Mattie Darlington , and Abby Benson will be players to watch for the Lady Cru !
