No harm no foul!! I enjoy the banter on these threads... I do have a question though. . I read all the 8th region threads and the SK thread.. I wonder how Ms Neace will fit in at SK.. she is a good player and I've seen her play quite a few games, and I saw her play AAU ball over the summer..but there may be some jealousy and drama..we are talking about teenage girls you know!! What do you all think?

Hey I heard the Scott County boys got a bunch of transfers again??? Wrong thread?:taz:

The scores from last year with GC and WV were. 74 - 28 loss at GC and 51-26 loss at WV.

 

Losses to SK. 71-25 @ SK and 62-36 @ GC

 

Ironically, the year that these two games took place, Grant defeated Walton in the first round of district play. Sometimes, it doesn't matter how far apart a team is from the other. In the end, all teams are judged by what they accomplish in the post-season and crazy things are known to happen in March. It will be fun watching both Walton and GC develop throughout the year however, I don't think either team will struggle at point guard. Grant has Macy Wright returning and Walton will have a healthy Shelby Beckham. Both players are more than capable of handling those duties.

It's girls basketball. Worst you ever seen one night and the next night look like the #1 team in the region! LOL.

I know that Coach West, Coach Wright and the rest of the GC coaching staff will have the girls ready to play, they will play hard and will not quit.

That will be a huge loss for the Braves. She takes care of the ball really well at the PG position. Like her hustle.

From what I've heard they are trying a few different players because I don't think they want Macy to have to bring the ball up the court, at least all the time. They need her at the 2 or 3 to score. But probably having your most experienced player handling that duty would be a good thing.

Macey Wright played a very limited AAU schedule this past season because of golf and GSP. But in the limited time that she played she caught the attention of a number of college coaches because of her versatility. She is able to play anywhere on the floor both offensively and defensively. She is one of those players that makes everyone around her better.

Very much agree with everything you said. i think you will be pleasantly surprised when you see another player that you know playing on this team too Budman!

That's awesome more exposure for the girls of NKY. Can you share the coaches or schools that are interested? What events or showcases?
