LOL! That rematch is still down 5-6 weeks... but if that is your opinion, so be it. but then again if the corners do come up and press the wideouts, whats going to happen if LC runs a " slugo " ( slant and go ) or how about just go deep to # 2, 3, 1 and 20? All are pretty fast by the way. How about this, if you press the 4-5 wideouts, how are we going to stop the run? I am sure that coach Chuck will adjust his defense by the time/ if there is a rematch. Just hoping for another fun game.

When I mentioned moving the corners up I wasn't talking about playing man coverage, I know what kind of receivers LC has, but I think a 6 or 7 yard cushion is better than a 10 or 12 yard cushion. Like you say historically Smith has been great at adjustments the second time around let's hope that trend continues.

Sorry I thought I was quoting what Bosshog's statement. About pulling the corners up closer. Anyway lets enjoy the rest of the season and hope everyone in Boyle Co stay healthy and strong and perhaps a rematch down the road.

Boyle wins the rematch. They'll bring the corners up and that'll shut down the old chuck and duck Lexcath offense.

Tight man to man has not been a Boyle trademark. And its hard to stop atheletes who are good 'in space'. Andy Thompson may be the best 'in space' ball handler since Greg Ragland at LexCath.

I'm with you Jack on Smith's first tenure. But we had Pardue as OC.

OK does he not trust Masons play calling ability? As for me I think the passing game has worked fine this year when used it's just not been used enough. I don't think it's out of the question to see Pardue back at Boyle in the future I think Chris is a better OC than a head coach, and it wouldn't surprise me to see Mason retire before to long I've been told he has talked about it the last couple of seasons.

Bosshog did comment on pulling the corners up as I did in a previous post and I know Boyle doesn't have corners athletic enough to play man, but I think the cushion can be a little tighter.
