Featured Replies

I'm just waiting to see if RCC compares D2 to the All A?

Hey, quit instigating!!! But hmmmm. If you could have read my text to one of the posters on this very thread, you would know EXACTLY where I stand. Not too far off!

It certainly could be impressive. It depends on which KY Premier team. There is not just one, they have many.

KY Premier has some awesome team(s)...but they also have seen some that struggle.

Niece will not play on one that struggles....:thumb: She played on 17U Parmley this past weekend and that team won the 17U Peach State End of the Road Georgia Championship.

Heard Ally Niece made the Ky Premier team. Pretty impressive!!!:thumb:

Leaving Legacy?

That is good for her. And yes, I am aware of the Parmley team...that is not one of the struggling ones for sure.

And BTW, congratulations on the Championship.

Shouldn't this go in the AAU section rather than cluttering up the school board?

Leaving Legacy?

Yes

You are welcome. As for the weekend, we placed 4 teams in the finals and won two championships. There are many more Northern Kentucky kids contacting us to play for the upcoming year. We are always looking for good players.

As for Niece she has already been on the phone with Louisville and Kansas today. Louisville will be at Simon Kenton next week to see her in open gym. I have had numerous calls about her and several of the new kids that went this weekend with us from Major D1 schools. Niece also has a personal invite to Big Blue Madness from Coach Mitchell since he saw her play with us.

Well deserved recognition for a very dedicated player!

At aau nationals in mason there couldnt have been more than 20 teams D1 -D2 combined and only represented Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia and 1 other state! And not 1 player in any national ranking platforms was there unless you count (Cydney Moss) coaching. I am not knocking any of the local teams accomplishments but that's just it these should be cs liked local rankings not national by any means!

There were 26 teams at nationals in Mason this year representing several regions of the country including NJ, Massachusetts , Missouri, Southern Mississippi, Minnesota, the Ozark Region and of course Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana.

However, rankings must be based on performances at all the AAU tournaments around the country as there were many teams on the the lists whom did not appear at the national events.

In regard to the upswing in NKY talent what I find most interesting is comparing the 2014 preseason power rankings to the end of the year rankings. I am not sure their is even a NKY team listed preseason. That said, the NKY teams obviously worked very hard and stepped up to represent this past season.

Had a brain cramp with Lexi, but did add her in a followup post. In regard to Hannah and Mo I was simply listing current roster. No offense intended.

Wish the current roster nothing but continued success.
