Not true. He hasn't resigned.

In my opinion Al Holland is going nowhere. He has the best job in Eastern KY with a 10 school feeder system. He makes more money than any coach in Eastern KY.

Coach K will leave Duke before Big Al leaves PCC.

Speaking of Coach K, I always had a theory that he wanted to coach at UK. I developed this theory after the '92 game when after the game he made it a point to get on the Radio with Cawood and Ralph and talk about the game and the great Kentucky tradition. I always thought he believed Pitino was a short timer, and was postioning himself for the job. Of course, Pitino hung on a few more years, Coach K had back problems and was forced to sit out a year and things just fell apart.... Oh well, I digress. As for the 14th, still hearing lots of rumors, but have no inside information. I have heard rumors concerning Knott, Breathitt, Owsley, Powell, Wolfe, and Perry. KIDSFAN says that Coldiron has resigned and that is the most concrete information I have. I keep checking the KHSAA and KDE job openings, but nothing has been advertised so far at any of the schools.--- Any way it appears it could be a very active off-season in the 14th.

How would Neeley and Hollon both play point guard? Both play well as long as they are in control of the ball. Just throwing that out there.

Hollon would be better suited for the 2 guard. Neeley is better at running the offense.

I hadn't ever saw Hollon play 2-guard. Neeley tried it at times this year and wasn't very effective. If a player is used to handling and controlling the ball it can be hard to adjust.

Neeley couldnt run Owsley's offense. Besides, Neeley will not fit in with breathitt, Hollon is the studd guard on that team. He is a better ball handler than Neeley by far. Neeley might as well stick with Owsley, so he can jack 30 shots a game; I dont see Breathitt letting him do that.

The stud led his team to a 4-23 season. I've seen Neeley hit 20 + out of 30 so anyone would let him do that, and he's as good of ballhandler, IMO and probably a better defender at this point. But, it's probably moot as no one knows he's transfering, etc.

Hollon played the 2 quite a bit this season and really had his best scoring efforts from that position. He's a shooter and a good one and at that position he gets more opportunities.

Neeley's not going anywhere. He'll be an Owl next season with a lot to prove and the talent to do it. To many local ties for his family and him to leave Booneville especially with the uncertainty with the coaching position at Breathitt. That is strictly rumor but has anyone else heard anything. He would be a great addition to any team in the 14th.
