I would say Manual is better and with a better resume than the other 6A super district teams. They handled Bowling Green in scrimmage in Bowling Green, shutting them out. They beat #2 Central 41-7. They beat a much improved Fern Creek team despite losing Nero. Then everyone says "what are they going to do without Nero" and they simply come out and beat PRP 43-0, a team Scott County beat 55-27. They have the #1 scoring defense in all classes. They have beat Male 4 years in a row. HOWEVER, I do feel they will have to defeat Trinity and St Xavier to garner respect as the top school.

 

Scott co was beating PRP 36-0 at half and pulled all starters. PRP scored every point on SC's Jv. McKee pulls starters after running clock

They used to win those games when Bryan Station was getting mollywhopped by Highlands and Scott County was putting a running clock on Lafayette. This year Bryan Station is much improved and Lafayette seems to be as well. It just seems odd that beating LexCath doesn't count for anything anymore.

LexCath is a shell of its former self.

Does the loss of Nero hurt Manual or do they have a capable replacement for him?

Scott County has definitely been on a roll but they are not as good as last year, however Bryan Station doesn't play defense enough to slow them down.

There Is no RB In all of Louisville Like Nero. He has the combination of speed,power only matched by Damien Harris.
