How so with Central?

 

They are a 3A team who has lost to possibly one of the Top 5 overall teams in the state and a Lafayette team that we are debating right now. Their other games against larger Louisville schools they dominated true to form.

 

Because they got crushed by that team and their wins are against two teams who have maybe 1 win between them? That leaves the game with Lafayette. We're saying Central is strong because of the Lafayette game and Lafayette is strong because of the Central game. Kind of circular. What if both are down? I really don't know, just saying at this early point it looks like Central is off from past years.

Someone in the know told me "Lafayette is average, not a Top 10 team in 6A".

But it sure looks like neither Lex Cath nor Central are near where they have been recently so I'm not sure how quality those wins really are.

 

How is LexCath not where they were? Bryan Station gave Highlands all they wanted..something LexCath has never done. LexCath's other loss is to Bowling Green. Until proven otherwise LexCath is a top 5 team in 4A regardless of their record. They aren't playing patsies.

In my case it's the way Lex Cath lost that got me thinking they're off. Bryan Station just dominated. I think even a Lex Cath fan said it wasn't as close as the score indicated. Shoot, I can't even figure out NKY let alone the Lexington area.

Nope. Because they are and they prove it by playing quality teams. Scott County has one quality win and it is over a team not even in the 6A top 10. Collins says Scott County is overrated.
