All good calls? So its against the rules to hit an offensive player in the back when he has the football?

 

After one of the calls - they threw a flag on the Coach Foley for being on the field. Why didnt foley get 15 yard unsportsman like penalty? It would have been deserved. Instead a 5 yard side line warning. Did it have to do with the fact he knew the call Foley was upset about wasnt solid?

 

The Helmet to Helmet calls are judgement calls and they are tough on officials to make. I understand that, but adding a targeting rule just makes officials over sensative. Why KHSAA need a target rule when they already have a rule for leading with the helmet?

 

Teach the kid to wrap up... alot of belly tackling and shirt grabbing by FHS, and it led to 3 penalties. Kids looked like arrows being shot helmet first all night in the secondary for them. Refs missed about 2-3 pass interference calls vs. the Panthers too as well as holding on most of the positive run plays they had. Take away all the false starts and illegal formations, motions and you have an even game on penalties. Coach B, you even mad about them making a bad call that benefited you!

The Crazy thing about this game was, the flag ratio was 24-6 and Frankfort was still in the game, Foley could have ate that unsportsmanlike penalty but, you cant blame him for fighting for his players. I wonder what the Ref's Pre-game was like.. but kudos to County on their "city" championship.

This game wasn't a game. Frankfort High was the better team Friday night obviously the whole town could see that. Even the refs could see it. It was Franklin County's homecoming guess the refs felt a little pitty for them thinking maybe they wanted to see a poor team win against a rival. :ohbrother: The official's were horrible, horrible, horrible. Not the reason the Panthers lost? CoachBuckett, I'll say it for you, the refs were the reason why Franklin County even put up that weak 22 points. Frankfort High should have won this game 27-0 or maybe 27-3 from what I seen talent wise. #7 and #5 for County were the only factors, Frankfort High had about 10 of those. Hats off to The Panthers for playing two teams Friday night, The Flyers & The Refs.

 

I say replay this game at KSU field with ref's from Lexington and Panthers win easy, Flyers are not good in my opinion, look very sloppy and young.

 

I respect what Coach Foley did for his kids by standing on the field taking a hit to the chin for his team that's a true coach, have to respect that guy.

 

Would have loved to see Frankfort throw more to #9, might have been a game changer but who are we kidding we probably would have got an offensive pass interference after a Flyer tackles him before he catches it.:sssh:

 

When the Flyers play Beechwood, they will expose them. I am saying 42-7. When Frankfort meets up with The Tigers, I look for a close game with The Panthers pulling away 27-17.

Not saying Panthers are better. They are not better when you committ so many motion penalties. That's jut a crazy statement.

Actually every time if they'd like long as 7 on the line, there is no penalty...:thumb:

Roughing the kicker and Running into the kick it also an error the made... but hey who critiquing them... I don't know a thing about Officiating. :idunno:

Game is over those kids all played a hard physical game, proud of them all. This time Flyers got the upperhand on to next year. Good luck Panthers.
