The Atlantic City Police Dept must explain why they refused to give the NFL the video

I agree unless they were ordered to or required by law then why should they release it. It's entirely possible the victim didn't want it released too.

Goodell could have gone to the casino to get the video. They have come out to say it was available but no one from the NFL contacted them to get a copy.

Here is my post #9 from this thread again:

Consider this:

But TMZ co-executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere told "FOX Sports Live" on Monday night that despite the NFL's assertions, sources working at Revel Casino at the time of the incident told TMZ that "people from the NFL" went to the casino shortly after the incident and saw the video TMZ released on Monday.

Latibeaudiere acknowledged that Goodell was not among those who saw the video at the casino, but that "employees of the NFL were at the casino to see the video." However, the league never requested a copy of the tape.

I've yet to see anything that says they have to release it. I'm with mustang...why should they release it to his employer?

You are a lost ball in tall weeds.

You need to think like an investigator. Why didn't they release it? Was this case handled the same as every case by that law enforcement agency? What did they release to the NFL? Did they release anything to the NFL? If they released anything, how can they justify releasing what they did and not releasing the video?

The cops have some explaining to do, and not just simple yes or no answers or hiding behind some grand jury mumbo jumbo when they already decided how the case was going to be disposed of.

Why would the first video

Be allowed to be released but not the video

From inside the elevator? That has never been mentioned yet either.

There is a smoking gun tidbit in that article:

The law enforcement official said he sent a DVD copy of the security camera video to an NFL office and included his contact information. He asked the AP not to release the name of the NFL executive, for fear that the information would identify him as the source.

But what did the NFL cover up? They made a stupid decision on the punishment but like I've said numerous times the video didn't give them any evidence they didn't already have.

Did you just type that?:idunno:

Did you just wake up from hibernation? Lol

Goodell will probably come out and say he lied about the tape because he didn't want to out the law enforcement officer who gave him the tape lol

Did you just type that?:idunno:

Let me rephrase...if you're going to go to this much trouble and risk his much it better be for something valuable and worth it. Why cover up an aging RB with his best years behind him that was never really a face for the league hitting his wife when the entire world knew what he did, something he admitted too.

Did you just wake up from hibernation? Lol
