The Atlantic City Police Dept must explain why they refused to give the NFL the video

You are a lost ball in tall weeds.

You need to think like an investigator. Why didn't they release it? Was this case handled the same as every case by that law enforcement agency? What did they release to the NFL? Did they release anything to the NFL? If they released anything, how can they justify releasing what they did and not releasing the video?

The cops have some explaining to do, and not just simple yes or no answers or hiding behind some grand jury mumbo jumbo when they already decided how the case was going to be disposed of.

Apparently according to you I'm too dumb to figure it out based on some of your comments.

I just think you are blowing some things out of proportion here.

In the end I think the NFL saw the video but it really doesn't matter if they did. They knew what happened either way and still just suspended him two games. Now they are acting like it's the police who didn't show them the video but that's bull. TMZ could get it but the NFL couldn't?

^ And let's face it, the prosecutors dropped the ball too so I can see where the whole criminal justice system could be complicit in the cover up of what the NFL knew and had access to.

Now the New Jersey politicians are getting involved. ESPN Radio had a New Jersey State Senator (I'm thinking that was his title) on early this morning. He was saying that if prosecutors actually give this kind of treatment to first time offenders, then the only good that can come from this situation now is stiffer penalties for future first time offenders. He pretty much conceded that it was too late to change anything about the Rice situation now, but was campaigning on the "future change" bit to get his name out. You know some politicians might want to grandstand and call for an independent investigation into the investigation of the Rice incident.

Let me rephrase...if you're going to go to this much trouble and risk his much it better be for something valuable and worth it. Why cover up an aging RB with his best years behind him that was never really a face for the league hitting his wife when the entire world knew what he did, something he admitted too.

Anything?
