paNDA Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Used to be you put an ad in the paper but with all the new technology I am sure there must be a better way. Ideas?
lawildcat Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Craigslist is a good start. We have bought and sold many cars on there (I should say Mr. lawildcat has)

nees1212 Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 And I 3rd craigslist. I've sold 3 cars and bought 1 through craigslist over the years.
lawildcat Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 4 votes for CL. I think we're done here. :thumb: Good luck!
doubledeuce Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Just donate it to Goodwill.........they will come pick it up! Craigslist is great, I like to search on there going to multiple cities to find what I am looking for. Example, it took me awhile but I finally found a 1988 Toyota 4runner, had to go to Colimbus, Oh to get it but it was worth it because most other sites are full of dealers, this way I can deal with the owners. What are you selling?
paNDA Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 I thought Craigslist was just for rapist?
lawildcat Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 You've been checking out the wrong forums there!
doubledeuce Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I thought Craigslist was just for rapist? Lots and lots of jokes there.......depending on how much you sell your vehicle for you might be right!
Beechwoodfan Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 I would have to agree with Craigslist. However, I would park the car at the top of Krogers with a sign. I would meet anybody from Craigslist at Krogers too, not at my house.

Pura Vida Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Some big companies have "internal Craiglists" - buy/sell lists open to their employees only - so for example if you have a buddy that works for P&G get them to post it for you. Less chance of running into the rapists that way. If it were me I would probably also mention it on my Facebook. Good luck!
woodsrider Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Also, I suggest setting up a separate email to use. You will also get bogus emails showing interest. Most are easy to spot but be on your toes.
Beechwoodfan Posted September 10, 2014 Posted September 10, 2014 Now I don't think anyone would want to rape me! But I know what you mean. Haha! I just don't like the idea of people I don't know getting familiar with my house or neighborhood.
