What did you think of them doing the Zona/Charger game last night?

Most of the time Berman gets on my nerves but I thought Dilfter added a lot of insight about offensive football, especially QB play and I found it interesting.

Anyone?

What did you two think about Dilfer?

Dilfer has always been good and brings very nice commentary to the game, he actually reminds me a bit of Chris Collinsworth when he first started out. He can poke fun at himself during the telecasts which is refreshing.

^He's alright, wouldn't be in my top 10 of people to call a game. Once they started singing the praises of the Ravens and the NFL for the Ray Rice thing, I turned it off.

I turned it off long before that. Everytime I heard Berman's voice a threw up a little in my mouth. Went to bed early last night.

You guys missed a great second half of football.

Rivers and especially Palmer can be inconsistent but they both make some great throws/plays.

That was hard to miss. I didn't hear anyone break with the "company line" yesterday. It's like it is written in their contracts that when the Rice thing was mentioned they needed to mention the swift action by the Ravens after viewing the video for the first time.

I thought Dilfer was good. There was one point that Arizona had the ball on 3rd down, the running back was hit and his knee touched the ground but he kept driving the defender back. They blew the play dead short of the first down. San Diego then calls timeout and Berman kept saying they were looking to see if they needed to challenge the play to see if they came up with the fumble. Problem was, there was no fumble and it was blatantly obvious. You could hear in Dilfer's voice that he really didn't know what Berman was talking about.

Nothing worse than announcers that make a big deal about something then don't change their opinion when the video shows it's obvious they were wrong.
