It's arrogant to imply that a team not even on the same class (two classes higher) as Highlands would consider Highlands their "state championship." You really think Bryan Station cares if they lost to Highlands if they make a run in the playoffs? Really? Maybe teams in NKY feel that way, but I HIGHLY doubt any other 6A school looks at a game versus Highlands as highly as you think they do... Highlands tradition speaks for itself, but don't pull a muscle trying to pat yourself on the back...

This......I'm sorry to say but there is only a few teams in 6a that can make this statement and Bryan Station is not one of them. Don't kid yourself...a win over Highlands is big for your program. That's not arrogance that's fact.

A win over a team like Highlands is certainly a big win, for anybody.

I don't disagree with you there.

Look this HHS team is not your typical HHS team. They are not going to beat evryone by 40-50pts a game. This team will have to fight with everything they have this year to win state imo. TRADITION NEVER GRADUATES!! :ylsuper:

Highlands is still the favorite but I think quite a few teams see how this season has started for Highlands and feel better about themselves and their chances. It should make for a more interesting run to represent the East for all involved.
