For a team that just dropped 17 straight, and got molly-whopped in a half of football to start off the year, you guys have certainly found your oats quickly. While you could talk me into a Boone win over Cooper, begrudgingly, "it could get ugly" is probably a smidge over-the-top.

Do you all think Campbell County is appropriately ranked?

I like CC at 4, they deserve it with the outstanding showing against Highlands. Really impressed with what they have going at CC!

They got handled by CovCath in a scrimmage similarly to how Dixie was handled, so I'm not sure there is that much of a separation between those two. I'd probably put Cooper ahead of Beechwood, like they have it, but I'm not sure there is much difference in any of those 4 teams, to be honest. If you MADE me rank those four, I'd probably put Cooper, Beechwood, Camels, and Dixie, but it would be in the lightest shade of #2 pencil.

Campbell was handled by CovCath like Dixie was. Wow! I watched Hudl and talked with parents of CCH and no one thought CCH handled CC. Maybe in your eyes, but not mine. But then again, I was watching a tape of the scrimmage so maybe my opinion is skewed a bit. I don't think so though! Campbell deserves #4 based on how they battled back last week.

Not sure CC was handled by CCH. Cov Cath returned the opening kick-off and scored 2 more times for VARSITY. CC scored twice during varsity.

First off, CovCath is 4A. Second, it's great that Boone beat Conner but let's be real. Conner is extremely down after they had what, 4 of their best players quit?

We are two weeks in, the sample size is small. The scrimmage wasn't competitive, is it the be-all, end-all, no, but at this point it would be silly to ignore it. I was simply answering a question about a poll in week #2, we aren't saving lives here.
